AB&I Foundry Joins Tyler Pipe & Coupling as an ASPE Affiliate Sponsor
The American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) is pleased to announce that AB&I Foundry has
joined our Affiliate Sponsor program as part of Tyler Pipe & Coupling’s renewal for the coming year.
Part of the McWane family of companies, AB&I and Tyler Pipe are both leading U.S. manufacturers of
cast iron soil pipe and fittings. Located in Oakland, California, AB&I also has a Custom Casting Division
that can manufacture specialized products, and Tyler Pipe has a foundry in Tyler, Texas and a coupling
plant in Marshfield, Missouri.
As ASPE Affiliate Sponsors, AB&I and Tyler Pipe receive year-round brand reinforcement and company
recognition through exposure in Plumbing Engineer magazine and ASPE Pipeline, on ASPE’s social
media platforms and ASPE’s website, and at national ASPE events. The companies also will receive five
complimentary one-year ASPE memberships and, as new benefits of the program, will be able to send
new product emails to ASPE membership and distribute an annual case study. ASPE also has recently
developed a section on its website devoted exclusively to Affiliate Sponsors (aspe.org/affiliates).
“The McWane Plumbing Group’s partnership with ASPE aligns perfectly with our mission to partner with
engineering professionals and help to educate them about our quality products that meet or even exceed
the requirements of the specifications,” says Kurt Winter, EVP of McWane Plumbing Group. “ASPE’s
dedication and commitment to the plumbing engineering community directly supports our focus of driving
greater awareness about the need to specify safe, non-combustible piping materials.”
“ASPE Affiliate Sponsors are great supporters and educators of the plumbing engineering industry, and I
hope our members learn more about the proper applications of cast iron pipe from this new partnership,”
says Brian Henry, ASPE’s Director of Affiliate Relations.
