Kennedy Valve volunteers in annual Earth Day cleanup

Every year, for more than 20 years, Kennedy Valve has celebrated Earth Day by cleaning up the Lackawanna Rail Trail. The 15-foot-wide trail follows the path of the former Lackawanna Railroad and meanders behind the Elmira facility along Newtown Creek.

Many of Kennedy Valve's team members make this a tradition with their families and come year after year. This year, they were also joined by volunteers from Elmira City School District Honor Society.

A huge thank you to all those who participated. This event provided an opportunity to give back to the community while helping create a cleaner, more sustainable environment.
